Hi all,

 

I have had few messages from isle of Man and Channel Isle customers lately, saying that paypal is refusing to recognise the delivery address set up within the site

 

So I created a test user, say

 

this is a test

5 somewhere terrace

La Street de where-ever

St "actual town in Jersey"

JEx xxx

Channel Isle

Jersey

 

in the long distant past I created Jersey and all other Channel Isles along with Isle of Man, as separate countries for vat purposes, and have been quite happily selling to residents of those countries, but now

 

when they try to check out and I have done the same myself, this error message appears

 

"There's a problem with the shipping address you entered on the merchant site, and we've marked it in red. Please change the address, then continue checking out with PayPal."

 

this is the shipping address which appears at the paypal checkout page

Its like the site is not passing the variables anymore, anyone got a clue

hey ho,

 

and just to complicate things further.

 

I have three table rate shipping calculations - Uk, EU and rest of the world

 

Just noticed that the Channel Isle's are rest of the world for VAT purposes, but are also rest of the world for shipping, when they ought to be, maybe Uk but at worst EU

 

oh what fun !!
