Redirecting old pages to new oscommerce pages in same domain

Hello.

I have just launched my oscommerce website.

Before that I had a custom php site.

 

I need the old urls directed to the new within the same domain.

eg. /toys.htm redirect to /sex-toys-c-1.html

 

i have about 100 or so to do.

 

I have tried adding it to my htaccess but couldnt get it. this is what i used:

Redirect 301 /old-page-name http://www.your-domain.com/new-page-name

 

any help would be appreciated:)
