Custom Product Info? Discogs csv to oscommerce?

Hi folks,

First post!

 

My question is, I'm building a storefront to sell albums, cd's and dvd's and the occasional schwag.. it's at:

How would I configure a single product (an lp/cd/dvd) to have the following fields:

 

Catalog#

Artist

Title

Label

Format

Rating

Released

release_id

CollectionFolder

Date Added

Media Condition

Sleeve Condition

Notes

 

...without just dumping them all into the product description field? I'd like to create these fields in the db if at all possible so I could potentially import the data from CSV.. I looked at some of the addons, but they look kind of frumpy and potentially hazardous for heavy lifting, ymmv!

 

Any tips and/or tricks would be very welcomed here, my database is going to get really large, really quick, so I really want to get this right the first time!
