After upgrading to PHP5.4, my site doesn't seem to work for the checkout. After changing the delivery address in checkout, it shows the shipping cost. But then billing address seems to be disappeared so shipping charge is disappeared in the checkout_confirmation.php. Then it doesn't get charged for shipping while redirecting to the Paypal site. Would it be a session problem? How to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Versions of osCommerce older than 2.3.3 will not work with PHP 5.4, so you need to update your store if you are on an older version. You may also need to update some addons that are not safe for PHP 5.4.

Jim

See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.

I understand that I need to upgrade osCommerce to 2.3.3 but is there a quick fix for now while upgrade is in progress?

Sitting with the same problem, and don't really want to upgrade to 2.3.3 as yet. No solution at all?

Hi

Try this

http://crimsonshift.com/oscommerce-2-3-x-compatible-php-5-4-x-fix/

It links to the original source which is

http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/379879-php-54-what-impact-will-it-have-on-osc-v2x/

but it's a lot more succinct.

(and that top link is nowt to do with me, I don't think it's 'commercial' so maybe it can be left in this time?)

Hi

This patch seems to be only for "osCommerce 2.3.x to be compatible with PHP 5.4.x", and not osCommerce 2.2. I have decided to take the pain and move to osCommerce 2.3.x now, and busy redesigning the website on there :)
