Bob Terveuren Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Hi Try again - I downloaded again yesterday at about this time from http://www.oscommerce.com/files/oscommerce-2.3.3.2.zip and that one worked
marztarawneh Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 i have just uploaded the loaded commerce files and started the installation , ikt says : The database you identified already exists. The error message returned is: The existing database is not empty. It contains tables i can not empty the database coz i'm on one.com and they provide me only one database plus i already have a script installed which depends on the database . :/ which tables should i delete ???? i mean since i already installed oscommerce and it created the tables .
marztarawneh Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 plus i jst downloaded the file you posted now and tested it . same problem have a look : http://zarqalive.com/Matjar/install/index.php
Bob Terveuren Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Hi You have the correct files but the server you are using seems to be borking on something If you view the source code on the link you posted you'll see that the file is trying to access http://zarqalive.com/Matjar/ext/jquery/jquery-1.8.0.min.js That's the correct jQuery version but, for some reason, that file is returning a 500 error You could try deleting everything from the Matjar folder and reload, if that still fails then check the file permissions, if it still breaks then try the hosting company
danieletdg Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Hi all, i'n newbie, i've downloaded the full package v2.3.3.2 and I am getting the message "Please enable Javascript in your browser to be able to start the installation procedure". Of course Javascript is enable. I tried to install the previous version (2.3.3.1) and the installation is successful. The only problem is that I could not see the images and the default style. Any Suggest? Thank to all. Daniele
RobertMallory94 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I also get the message "Please enable Javascript in your browser to be able to start the installation procedure" even though it IS enabled in all my browsers I try. No matter what I do it still gives me this message and I cannot install because of it. I have the latest version. What can I do? Anyone? Thanks

This is a different problem, so next time start your own thread. 2) If you are allowed only one database, your hosting plan sounds very limited. You will probably have lots of problems trying to run a store plus the other application on this account. That said, osC assumes it is able to create a fresh database. You will have to modify the installation to a) make sure you aren't duplicating any table names, and if you are, manually add a prefix to osC's table names (e.g, store_) b) disable whatever is trying to create a new database, empty out the old one, or check that it's empty; and simply add the new osC tables to the existing one If you have no idea how to do this, say so and maybe someone can help you with it.
