A strange layout problem with UTF8 coding

Hello

I have a strange problem with my installation of osc 2.3.1!

My installation is in Greek so I made the appropriate modification to show right the letters and everything is ok!

Except the above:

I have three php pages that the greek letters is ok but the layout of these three page is distort! The three pages are contrition.php, legal.php and the shoping_cart.php! The problem occurs only to them! everywhere else in the installation the layout is great except for these pages!

The problem is located at the footer and at the size of the fonts as I can understand!

The mysterious is that when and if I change to English language everything is fine even in these pages. When I turn to Greek the same problem but only at these pages again!!!

I tried to rename the English.php in includes/language/ to Greek.php and worked fine but in ANSI coding. When I change/translate some words to Greek then the letters where "Chinese"! When i change the renamed file to utf-8 coding the letters were fine and the same layout problem appears at these three pages only.

OK, let's start there. What was wrong (not working correctly), and what did you do to try to fix it? Did you use a Greek language pack, or translate it yourself?

 

Your links do not show up in the browser status area, so I can't find those three pages you mentioned. Can you show the link to them as it appears on the page?

 

P.S. Please stop! ending every sentence! with an exclamation point!! It's very tiring to read. ! is used only to show very strong emotion, and should only be used once in a while.

Yes I have installed the Greek language pack!

Because I hade some problems with the Greek letters that I enter I made a simple add as I read here at the last post!

Sorry, but I compared the layout on those pages to your normal catalog page, and I see nothing "distorted". I'm using Firefox 23. What browser are you using? Can you describe exactly where the problem is, or even better, capture a screen shot and annotate it with a Paint or image editor program?

 

What was wrong (not working correctly), and what did you do to try to fix it?

This is very important -- I need to know in order to have any chance of helping you.

 

If you are using a computer translator to write these posts and translate my replies, that may be getting in the way. Maybe you can try to contact some of the authors in the thread you referenced, who are fluent in Greek.

You can see the problem to the footer! And only if you choose the Greek language!
