Hello all,

I need some help since I'm pretty new with osCommerce.

The administration pages are all in English now, which they weren't before, they were in Swedish before. How do I change that back. The language default settings are set to Swedish, but that doesn't help. Also, I've checked that my IP-address is correctly located in Sweden.

It works. However, I need to add that text every single time I'm opening a page. Isn't there a way to make Swedish language default?

At the main page of administrate page above the graphs at the right you can choose the default language

osC looks at the language your browser is configured to use, and uses that. It sounds like your browser is still English. Unfortunately, application_top.php's selection of language ignores the default (or did, last time I checked). Some time in the last year I posted a rewrite of osC 2.3.x's application_top.php language-selection section to use the default language ahead of the browser language -- I don't know if it made it into 2.3.3.1.

When you set language parameter than should save the languages_id and language into session variables. This means that your session not saved (closed) after the page loadings.

 

Did you upgrade to v2.3.3.1?

There are 2 possibilities:

1. install swedish localised browser

or

The problem is fixed in v.2.3.3

Update to the latest session.php at admin and the shop site.
