Harald Ponce de Leon Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Yep - we're pushing out weekly releases building up to the final v2.3.4 release. The changes that are already ready are being pushed out giving us time to finalize the remaining v2.3.4 changes. , osCommerce
cannuck1964 Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 While I aplaud the idea of update releases, in my opinion, large batch releases are better then small releases. This is due to the update stream being manged easier with fewer releases that contain 20 or 30 changes verses small releases that address issues but limited changes to the code... Just my opinion is all though... Harald Ponce de Leon Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 It's entirely up to ones self if they want to keep up or wait until the final v2.3.4 release. The v2.3.4 release guide will include the changes from the v2.3.3.x releases so they can be skipped over if already applied, or applied then in one go. This was not mentioned in the v2.3.3.1 release announcement to have as many as possible apply the security fix and not decide to wait until the final v2.3.4 release has been published. We're trying something new which will definitely help us with our future releases. , osCommerce
burt Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 And getting back on topic ;) Happy Birthday Harald
♥bruyndoncx Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Happy Birthday !!! Although I applaud the effort, I'm not too sure if I'm gonna install 2.3.3.2 - a "drunkman's" release (w00t) Think I'm gonna sitout till at least 2.3.3.3  KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! Find the most frequent unique errors to fix: grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
