definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I've been trying to access my admin portal for my online shop, but it keeps redirecting to securesignups.net and other variations. Is there any way to get around that? I can't remember my username or password anyway, so should I just reinstall? I was using v2.3.
definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 I've tried a new installation but I can't access the Welcome Page. It just comes up with a blank page and won't go anywhere. :(
Guest Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 @@definitivefreak What version of PHP is your server using ? Is the installation completing correctly ? (including database import) Chris
definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 Hey Chris, it's version 5.3.14. I use Cyberduck to upload and it said 100% uploaded.
Guest Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 @@definitivefreak Ok, did you run the installer ? Chris
definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 It wouldn't let me in. It just goes to a blank page.
definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 Now it's reverted to going to junk pages - securesignupoffers.org
♥joli1811 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Guess you have to check your nameservers you may need to check your nameservers and point your domain to the correct address To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.
definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 I uploaded 2.3.3 just now (it was 2.3.3.1 earlier) and I was able to install. I can see my catalog, but going to the admin page redirects to the junk.
♥joli1811 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Well compare your includes/configure.php with your admin/includes/configure.php Hard to say really as different hosts will have different paths but would think it is the admin/includes/configure.php that you should now be looking at. Regards Joli To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.
definitivefreak Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 I don't really understand. There's nothing in the configure.php files that mention nameservers. I see things like '/home/vol11_4/getfreehosting.co.uk/getfh_6296037/emeraldrose.co.uk/htdocs/catalog/admin/'
