Hello.

My programmer is currently working on my new oscommerce website, and it is basically ready to launch except the seo urls.

They say they cant find a way to do it, but I really need these done so my site is optimised as well as it should be.

The website is here: mockupworld.com/oscommerce

I will show an example here.

This url, is for sex toys, but the url reads as this mockupworld.com/oscommerce/index.php?cPath=1

I need it something like mockupworld.com/oscommerce/sex-toys-c-1.html or something similar

Same with my manufactuer pages. Product page too. any ideas? I know its hard without looking at the code but I refuse to launch my site without these seo urls in place.

I hav a heaps old version which Im not using but the seo urls are turned on for that so I was hoping for something similar. You can see that site here: www.discretionadultstore.com.au/oscommerce/oscommerce/oscommerce-2.2rc2a/catalog/wild-thing-nipple-drops-p-1999.html

Any help would be appreciated, I dont know much about coding so its all over my head, but any explanation and help would be great and if it is to hard for me I can pass the info onto my developer.

Thanks !!

Are you sure that your developer is good. I would worry if I was using one that could not use google to search for SEO urls on oscommerce. It is always better to use someone that is proficient on a particular platform.

Hi Matt,

Really do not understand why you are spending money and / or time building a new site with old outdated versions of Oscommerce ???

A new site should be built on the latest 2.33 just plain silly to do anything else.

define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3');
