Hi

I'm looking for a drop down menu which I can include in the header.

What I am looking for is one which I could call "Products" then when hovered over, or clicked on a drop down/fly-out menu would appear with all category's listed.

I am aware that there are several addons but they appear to be for 2.2.(Like Mega Menu which I haven't got a clue about installing)

Any help would be appreciated

Many thanks

Hi

Thanks for that. What I'm looking for is a menu like

www.niora.com/css-oscommerce (like at he top top of page at www.niora.com/cs-oscommerce))

Reason being we have many categories which would take up a lot of "real estate" using the addon as above. I don't know but maybe it can be modified, but I wouldnt have a clue how to do this.

Current oscommerce v 2.3.3

Many thanks for any help

Have you looked through the addons area. There are a few horizontal menus there.

Hi

I have spent hours searching thru addons, google etc. In desperation thought I would see if anyone on the forum might be able to shed some light.

Found mega menu but don't know how to correctly install so it works properly

Hi

I have tried both of the above, however for some reason I think there must be a file/files missing from http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8155

as I have followed the very easy install to the letter, but without success. Can't get it to work.

Any thoughts.

Many thanks

What does not work. I have this on a test site and it works well, albeit that I had to add loads more css styles to make it look better.

I am confused now. you said in your last post you had it working and now you say you cannot install it. Its very difficult to help when your feedback is like this, and you never actuaklly say what the problem is.

If you have http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7541 installed you can copy the styling from www dot niora dot com/cs-oscommerce easily, as it also uses the same contribution. Just go to www dot niora dot com/cs-oscommerce/css/style.css and cut and paste the styling from lines 252 to 271 into your .css file. I don't mind a bit if you copy it. You will also have to copy a couple of small images, and work them into your background. It will be a tedious process that will also involve learning some html if you have never done this before, but it is technically simple.

i installed the same add-on as negativeexistence. (see the picture i linked) that is i think what he meant:

as you can see there is the nice horizontal menu just over the breadcrumb and the category box which normally is inside the left column traveled all the way up to the left top corner.
