product url not showing in product page and linking to pdf

Sorry, I've done a few searches and can't find anything.

 

I have never used the product url option in any descriptions. So, I thought I'd give it a go to link to a pdf page, but nothing is showing on the product's page, regardless of what or where I link to.

 

I had made a couple of design changes to the page, but on comparing with the original install page (product_info), I still cannot see where the url should show, so it doesn't appear as though my simple change would have made a difference. I am sure that I am missing something very basic (is there somewhere I may have turned off the function?).

 

I am assuming that linking to a pdf page here would be the simplest way to link to one?

The URL field was originally used to link to an external web page. It's no longer used in osCommerce 2.3x.

 

You can use the Document Manager addon to add PDF links to your pages. See the link below.
