ADDING A NEW FIELD ON CHOOSE PRODUCT PAGE

I look into the code for the entire day but couldn't find any solution. I have to make a change to this site

I want to add a comment textarea in the choose design page http://www.somersetcustomtailor.com/choose.php?i=11&c=3&f=252

 

I can easily add it too. But the main confusion is."Where to find the script that inserts the form fields in the orders table so that it becomes visible in the Customers Order from backend. ". I searched for the whole day continuosly .......but could not find.

 

even I looked at

 

<form action="somescript.php?.....">

 

but that doesn't contain any code like HTTP_POST_VARS while searching.

 

Please suggest me on how the data is saved when a customer makes the selection for different attributes of a product.
