PugMaster Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Hi I have had an install at version 2.3.3 working fine for a few months but recently the Paypal Express Checkout has stopped working, receiving 500 errors. I did a fresh install into another folder with a fresh database install and that does not work either, install on another server works fine. I am hosted with streamline.net which seems to use fasthost servers, contacted there support but they are not that great even though the installs were down by there "one-click" installer. Managed to find the following entry in a log somewhere which is the closest i have come to solving this:- [Wed Aug 21 20:57:31 2013] [error] [client 81.154.248.67] Premature end of script headers: php54-cgi, referer: http://www.wormerplus.co.uk/shop/admin/modules.php?set=payment&module=paypal_express Kind Regards Paul Quote
Bob Terveuren Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Hi - I reckon Fasthosts have upgraded the PHP on your server and it's throwing a wobbly. Have a look at your other servers and compare PHP versions - there may be a clue there. Some hosting companies offer the ability to choose PHP versions - I have no idea if Fasthosts do - if they do then see if you can roll back your to something like 5.2 and see if that helps Quote
per1412 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 This is the same problem i was struggeling with. it was web server company so was beeing blacklistet by AT&T. API comunication between server and paypal was stopped/blocked. I contacted AT&T directly and they opened the blocking and all was OK after. My web server services was "Surftown".. They could not help me they had a DoDos attack at theyr servers and it was theyr problem. I spend 2 days figuring aou this. And no compensation from surftown. I wil start looking for a new web hosting firm. Quote
