Paypal denied status , order still pending ?

Is there any method if a transaction is not succesfully made to let me know somehow .

I mean it does not need to update the status of the order to pending if the payment is not succesfully made .

I almost make a mistake today and almost send an order to a customer , who did not make the payment succesfully . The status of the payment is denied and the status of the order was pending .

I did not noticed that the status of the payment is denied .

 

Is there anything that will update the order status only if the payment is Completed ???

 

Edit : Anything which will draw attention is good , changing the text color to red , ....

If you are using the paypal standard module, it should not show a pending message unless payment was made. You need to be sure you have the IPN option enabled in your paypal account. For marking the order, you can install my Additional Order Info addon. It will allow you to mark all paypal orders with a color to remind you to look those more closely. This is only useful if you use more payment options that paypal, of course.
