Hello

I am new to oscommerce I have an installation of 3.1 and I need to automate the pictures of products!!

What I want is to automate the images for product like that:

I have a camera that upload a photo to my ftp(catalog/images). The name of the photo is the same as the model field from the product! Can it automatically find the photo and use it from the image folder!!!

That's the first thing but

If the above cant be done I wonder if I can direct the foto from the "catalog/image/photozxx.jpg" to the product? Now I can only upload from my computer photos.

Larry

if you are not a developer try some other project. v3.1 is only for developers.

@ The is a field for each product that holds the name of the image. You can use the Easy Populate addon to easily set the name of the image for each product. Then you just need to upload the images, whether by your camera or some other method, and the product will find the image.

You need to state which images are to be used in this manner.

If it is ONLY the extra images, then you only need to make some small code changes in product_info.php to deal with it. Quite simple.

If it is the extra images AND the main image, then that is more difficult.
