Guest Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Hi I have a couple of small OS commerce stores, my pw's are memorised by chrome, that said I know exactly what the passwords are. One of the stores will not recognise my pw, I've tried it a few times very carefully. There does not seem to be a password reset any ideas what to do?
Jack_mcs Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 It depends on the type of login and version of your shop. Assuming it is a 2.3 shop, if it is an .htaccess file, you can replace the .htaccess and .htpasswd files in admin with the ones from the package. If it is the database admin (not a popup), you have to replace the database entry for it. Guest Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Please forgive my ignorance and stupidity (I had the site set up - didn't do it myself) and I'm not yet knowledgeable enough. But if I can't sign in is there a way of changing files in admin?
