Ive been developing my site using mysql 3, but Im now ready to start building the live server and am wondering if version 4 is considered mature enough yet? And while Im on the subject of "latest versions", what about apache 2.0? All thoughts appreciated, TIA (Yes, I did search for all this in the forums, but putting "mysql" into the search engine here is a bit like putting "mp3" into google :D ) Does this smell like chloroform to you? Ian Posted March 31, 2003 Share Posted March 31, 2003 I would advise against it. For a production server you don't want to be running bleeding edge stuff. You want stablity.
