fantomen
I am using oscommerce 2.2 and tried to install the contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,251 but with no success. First I installed: 10/26/2002 - Fixed Payment Type Charge v1.4 and it did not work. And then I tried to install the latest update: 03/06/2003 - Payment Type Charge update and this update seem to be just for 2.2MS1 and not for earlier versions. Please help all advices are helpful. Ian
There seems to be some confusion with the way this contribution has been packaged. There are in fact 2 contributions in the one package. Payment type charge (including MS1 update) and Fixed Payment type charge v1.4 v1.4 is not updated to MS1. If you are using MS1 it will not work. If you are using MS1 the code changes needed are fairly simple Trust me, I'm an Accountant.

Ian
That's easily fixed. Go to admin -> modules -> order_totals and adjust the sort orders. Set the sort order for the total module to 99 and the sort order for the fixed payment charge to 90. Trust me, I'm an Accountant.

Ian
In the same way. In admin->modules->order_total click on the entry for Fixed Payment Charge. Then click on edit. Then enter 90 into the Sort Order text box. Click on update. Just like you did with the total module. Trust me, I'm an Accountant.

Ian
Ok, I have the screenshot. You have changed the sort order of the Fixed Payment Charge to 99. This should be changed to 90. Whne you have done that you need to change the sort order of the Total Module. This is the order total module at the bottom of the list who's current sort order is set to 4. Trust me, I'm an Accountant.
