Send E-Mails from Wamp server.

Hi All,

 

I have my test shop on Wamp server but, it will not send out test eamails. i.e. new customer account confirmation, order confirmation etc.

 

I have another site on the same Wamp server created with Website X5. Wamp server will send emails ok from this site.

The only option for email in X5 is either Get or Post. It is set to post.

My settings in osc are:

E-Mail Transport Method smtp ( It was set to Sendmail but that did not work )

Line feeds LF

Send e-mails in HTML format False

Verify e-mail address through a DNS server False

Send out e-mails True.

Any ideas please.
