Install in site root issue

Hello - brand new and am having an issue which I can not find a thread on.

 

I have installed my shop into a sub-domain of my main site - shop.mywebsite.com

 

All installed fine but when i point my browser at shop.mywebsite.com i get the default apache website error page unless I type in my url as shop.mywebsite.com/index.php

 

any help is appreciated

Your domain name is not propagated yet or is not resolving correctly. Check your domain name settings.

Does it load if try mywebsite.com/shop ?

Looks like it was a propagation issue it is now loading properly - strange never had a subdomain do that before...
