permissions are not set correctly

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I get the message that my permissions are not set correctly and I have to change it in:

Catalog/includes/configure.php

Catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to 706 or 777

But I don't no how to change it because I don't see any chmod where I can change it.

Please help

Thanks

Bart

you know when I first started on the net, the word CHMOD just about killed me trying to find out what it was

I don't know what kind of FTP uploader you use

or what kind of server admin panel you use

but those are the places to look

in your server admin area look for a directory manger

in there you should find permissions.

If you use a ftp uploader, most of them all you have to do is right click on the file you want to change permissions to

and a window will pop up and you highlight permissions, or chamod

then it should give you options, many times a radio box where you click the right thing, or unclick

when you get past the chmod thing wait till you see the phpadmin area!!!
