Change Tax/VAT in v2.2 RC2a

Hi all,

 

Is it possible to change the Tax/VAT in v2.2 RC2a?

 

I've inherrited a site using v2.2 RC2a and I can't see any modules or areas that will allow me to do this.

 

I know some verions of OS have 'Location/Taxes' module, but I dont have anything like this in the version I'm working with.

 

The only this that I can see is in each product there is:

• Products Price (Cost):
  
• Products Price (Net):
  
• Products Price (Gross):
  

It also has the option of making the product 'Taxable' or not

 

I'm hoping you dont have to set the tax for each product.

 

And advice?

can you give more detail? I don't quite understand what you trying to accomplish.

You set the VAT rate in your Location/Taxes area within the admin area. It is in the left column in admin area. You need the tax rates link.

 

Once you have altered the tax rate you then need to go to the edit or create products page within your admin and there should be a dropdown box labelled Tax class just above the price area and you need to select the tax class that you have modified and entered.

 

Oscommerce will then ad the tax class to the price in the Products Price (Gross): area.
