Horizontal Menu OsC 2.3.3

Hi

 

I am wanting to insert a Horizontal menu using something like Superfish, megamenu or similar. So as only "Category" appears as top menu then when clicked on or hovered over then the full catalogue appears as a drop down. and also have alongside such links as "About Us", "Shipping & Returns" etc in a nav bar in the header like

I know that I probably need appropriate bm_catagories etc the megamenu script etc and that the header.php will need code.

The problem is I don't know what code, and wondering if anyone can help.

There's one in the Header Footer Contents Modules addon. It's a bit of a pain to set up, but it works.

However I must be doing something wrong as when I go to install Simple menu I get

 

ERROR: need to install admin installer module first

 

Not sure where I get this from. I installed V1.2 & HFC Simple Menu 1.2

 

Anyone offer a solution please.
