blurb Posted March 31, 2003 Share Posted March 31, 2003 Ok im after suggestions on the following. I have a client selling seafood. He sells his product by price per kilogram. If someone orders 1 kilogram of fish and the filets of fish weigh about 600 grams the order will have to be modified by the shop owner to either 600grams worth of fish or 1.2kilogram of fish. So the main questions .. How to have a cart sell items by weight How to have a order taking system that basically quotes the cleint what the order will cost but then be modifiable by the shop owner and sent back to the cleint for confirmation on the changed details. I sort of see it as a quoting system that a cleint uses and then the shop owner sends out a updated quote based on all the factors that can change the price for a user.
