Image Folder has 15000 files! FTP Client don't show all

Hi everyone,

 

I have been running OSC for 9 years and my image folder contains 15000 of image files. If I use the Cpanel/file manager I can see all the sub folders and files but if using ftp client such as Filezilla then it only shows 1998 files and no sub folder showing. My question is how can I make the ftp client to show all? thanks a lot.

Hi there

 

Have a check with your hosting company - they probably have a 2000 numerical limit on ftp facilities so you see 1998 plus the two links

I am using delicated server, have searched around and see no where to make the change. could you tell me where in whm or Chanel to change the FTP setting?

filezilla with FTP 4999 files in same folder

Had the same problem last week uploading / copying a site using filezilla the images were actually there / uploaded

 

I could see in control panel but at first I could not see in the FTP program ( I can see now just checked again ) 1982 files / 16 directorys

 

so not sure why the time delay ?? It alright now but interesting problem. makes difficult to see if everything is uploaded correctly

Hi - big assumption that you have WHM as the server control panel - try this
