Nungar Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 In the past clicking on a customers email address would cause MS Outlook to open a new email to be completed. At the moment my Windows 8 machine asks that I log in to a Microsoft account and then I am told that it will not work with a pop3 email account. I don't know if thisd is an ecommerce issue or an Outlook issue or as usual Microsoft has broken something with the latest version of Windoze. Can anyone shed any light on the problem or have a way to work around it? Please bare in mind that I am not a technical guru, just an end user. Thanks, Steve
♥14steve14 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 If your windows 8 is a new install, or you have just carried out an update check that your windows default programs are set up correctly. Make sure that your default email program is outlook. You couls also try repairing your office installation. I had a similar problem when i upgraded to windows 7. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
