bugnet Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Hi there, I was thinking if is it possible to make a clone of one Store in another domain, connecting to the first one database and useing some of their data, like products, products_descriptions, manufacturers and related, with a local db for customers or even on the same remote server with a secondary name (customers2, address_book2, orders2 etc), is that possible ? thanks
Jack_mcs Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 If your goal is to offer two different prices, see the Separate Priciing per Product addon. If it is to run two different sites, then see the multi store addon.. Hi there Jack, thanks for replying, well, my main goal isn't separate prices, but separate stores, with same database (name, descriptions, maybe prices, and stock) for products and manufacturers, mainly, because I want to share stock so I don't sell a item out of stock on store1 that has sold on store2 or vice versa, thanks David

JMO Chris Yeah I know it, but its a major need, because stock is real time of itens and if ends in stock, must be not sold in both stores anymore, any solution @@DunWeb or @@Jack_mcs ? thanks David
Dan Cole Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 You can certainly do this....I run a couple of sites using the same database....did you have a look at the multi-store contribution that Jack referred to?
