Installment payment

Hello,

 

I'm very new to OS Commerce, infact I have only just downloaded. I need to develop a shopping cart which allows customers to pay a deposit first and then at a later stage pay the full amount. I have seen in the add-ons section that there is an installment payment add-on http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1777 . What I would like to know is whether it's compatible with the Version 2.3.3.

 

If not, can anyone advise whether there is another extensions that allows paypment in installments please?

That addon is 6 years old and was developed for version 2.2........I can't say if it's a well coded addon or not as I'm not a coder, but it would definitely need adjustments to work in 2.3.3.

 

I suggest using something recently coded, perhaps some of the coders here will have an idea as to how to proceed, otherwise, if you're willing to pay to have it custom coded, post your request in this section and you'll most likely get quotes for your project.

There is a commercial layaway add on available if you google for it.
