aftabn10 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Hi, just looking to get some advice as to how I can resolve an issue I am getting when customers are placing orders. I had this issue a couple of days ago, and noticed that customers werent able to pay when reaching the Paypal as an error message 'Invoice has already been paid' was showing up. I decided to activate the COD option and placed a few orders and this error went away. I have now had a customer email me with the same error message. How can i get this fixed permanently? Any ideas? If somebody could please help. Thanks in advance. Btw I am running an oscommerce 2.3 version of the software.

Within the backend I have the Paypal Website Payments Standard selected and within the payments module I have the following within the paypal file. $this->signature = 'paypal|paypal_standard|1.0|2.2'; Thanks btw for your help.
♥toyicebear Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Are you running more than one shop or have you run paypal payments via another site before, the paypal system requires an unique "order id". If that is the issue you have two options. 1. Go to your paytpal control panel and set allow duplicate payments to "true" or 2. Modify the paypal module to give a "unique" id. aftabn10 Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 thanks toyicebear for your reply. The paypal account that is being used is only for this site and has not been used elsewhere. The only thing I remember is that the orders table was truncated but this was over 6 months ago.

snakelimit Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I got that problem when delate some orders then same order id was used again ..... I just do a test orders unit reach correct id XD
