multimixer Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 How do you plan to check where the user is from? Per ip or after registration or per user selection upon site entry? What should users from e.g. Italy get to see? My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

RMD27 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 ssoeb - Filtering by IP I have seen done in Wordpress for widgets but never for OSC. For something completely different. Depends on how many products your dealing with. For less than a thousand you could have main categories by country and then list the products in the sub categories but for seo i would recommend you also have categories by product type and/or manufacturer. You could also put different geo meta tags for each product/category to try and filter the products/categories that show in search results by country. Some food for thought
