I have osCommerce v2.3.1 I have no idea what I am doing. I have a POS system called Ace Retail, and it has a webstore function. They set up the webstore and everything but I have no idea how to run it, and they are not returning calls. I have a couple problems with my webstore:

You are supposed to just be able to click send to webstore, and everything gets uploaded to the webstore. It will actually do this, BUT:

#1- it doesn't upload the stock levels, so if someone goes to buy something it says out of stock.

#2- it doesn't upload the gst, so if someone buys an item it doesn't add GST.

#3- when the order gets processed by the ace retail system, it will change items. Like if it was an apple bought on the webstore, and then I go to post it to ACE it somehow changes it to an orange!

This is a video on youtube that shows how "easy" it is supposed to be.

Does anyone have any ideas?

So this "webstore" by Ace is a modified version of osCommerce 2.3.1, that is supposed to coordinate inventory with your bricks-and-mortar store (in both directions)? It sounds like they must have modified osC to some degree to do this, so the responsibility would fall to them to fix it. No one here is going to have any idea what Ace Retail is (memories of Suzanne Somers singing "Ace is the Place with the helpful hardware man!").

The failure to add GST is probably a separate configuration problem. Are you in Canada? There are several people on this forum who may be able to suggest what to do. If Ace is not based in your country, they may be unfamiliar with configuring osC for various kinds of sales taxes and VATs. It's always dangerous to go out-of-country on something like this, unless they guarantee that they know how to set up all the appropriate taxes.
