General Guestbook / testimonials - which one ?

having endlessly browsed the add ons, i cant seem to find any 2.3.1 compatible add ons for guestbook /testimonials.

 

hoping somone can point me in right direction or are there any easily addapted 2.2 add ons ??

wow no guest books in use, does everyone use product reviews ?

You can use one of the 2.2 ones, searching in the forum you can find tutorials on how to adapt 2.2 add-ons to be used with 2.3

Whether a guestbook, testimonial, or product review module, (or "recommmend a product" or "tell a friend" that emails HTML) there is always great danger that malicious people can enter arbitrary HTML/Javascript code to do nasty things. It is up to you to check out the code to make sure it sanitizes whatever people enter, to disable all HTML or at least restrict the tags that can be used. If you're not up to that task, get reviews of any particular code you want to use to see if others have verified it.

thanks for replys, im just looking for a wall type thing where people can only post text, no html etc , and comments to be approved by admin.

 

tbh iv not found much for 2.2 that has any up to date support topics, so assume no one uses those, but id of thought most sites have some kind of guest book / feedback wall
