Customer Input Fields

Hello,

 

I searched but couldn't find a suitable answer hence my post and I apologise if this has been addressed before.

 

I am running osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2.3

 

On a products page I have several product attributes for users to choose from, such as colour.

 

I would like to add text fields for customers to input specific information before adding an item to their shopping cart.

 

Is this possible. If so do I need to install a specific addon?
