krdito Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Twice in the last two days, customers purchasing items with an order sub-total greater than $600 receive an error message from the USPS indicating "-2147219101 missing value for service" If items are removed from their shopping cart, bringing the order total down to $600 or less, the USPS is able to provide a shipping quote for Standard Post, Priority Mail, and Express Mail. We did not have this issue before the recent USPS changes at the end of January. We don't see where there is a dollar limit to which they can provide a shipping quote. The items are well under their weight limit of 70 pounds. Anyone with any ideas on how to fix this? We don't want to lose these nice sales because of a shipping quote glitch! Thank you so much! Quote
krdito Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 I should add that the order total in each case was well under the USPS lmit of $5,000 for insurance. Have received orders in the $500 range without issue, but around $600, the USPS stops providing any shipping quotes. Quote
krdito Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 All fixed! For anyone who might encounter a similar problem, it was due to the package size necessary for these larger orders, which apparently exceeded the USPS size limit. By adjusting the package size dimension in the shipping module to not exceed the USPS limits, regardless of the order weight, we were able to fix the problem. Quote
