Forbidden You do not have permission to access this document

Hi,

 

when I try to delete a category, a product or an attribute from the panel appear this message:

 

Forbidden

You do not have permission to access this document.

If I delete the section Directors okay instead.

 

I checked the permissions and the database tables, but everything seems ok.

 

Maybe this can be the problem?

You need to contact your host's tech support and tell them to shut OFF "mod security", or at least tell you how to do it yourself. Of course, you've double checked your file ownership (they all belong to YOU) and permissions are good (typically 644 for files, except 444 for configure.php, and 755 for directories). NEVER 777 for anything unless you're forced to in order for PHP to write to your directories).

 

Since it's only one particular operation, my money is on mod security messing with you.
