dm9 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Hi all I have a problem, I am having a problem using osCommerce 2.2-MS2. Using the "front-end" of the editing software for a catalogue (stored on a local server), I save the entire database as individual SQL files which can be used to recover the entire database and restore to a certain point in time. Recently, through a freak accident (that I still don't understand the reasoning behind), I deleted one of the item lines through this front-end editing software... and the ENTIRE catalogue was deleted. All categories, products, images, etc. I had made an SQL backup of the catalogue the day before so went into the 'DATABASE BACKUP MANAGER' screen to restore... However after many many attempts, every time I attempt to restore using the SQL file, and on multiple internet browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) with different proxy settings etc all tried out, I am left with an error screen at the end of the restoration process and nothing has been restored: The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading I use Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and searching on Google it seems this might have something to with locks / blocks on processes. Does anybody have any information on this or know how I might be able to resolve it? (if I can)? Thank you very much in advance
