FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 OK folks, I've set the zone rates as follows (see screenshot attached): Zone 1: Flat Rate for Rest of the world Zone 2: Flat Rate for Europe (excl UK) Zone 3: Flat Rate (£zero) for UK But when I do a test order I get the message: "The shipping rate cannot be determined at this time" Any ideas?
burt Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 That message will appear if you are attempting to ship to a country that is not listed...
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Listed in the "Countries" Section of "Locations/Taxes"? It is!
RMD27 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Listed in the "Countries" Section of "Locations/Taxes"? - No, in the zone rates, you need to enter the iso codes in the "countries" section
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Hi Burt, In "Zones" I have each country listed as follows: Country Zones Code Action Australia 1 AU Austria 2 AT Belgium 2 BE Bulgaria 2 BG etc,etc... Have I done this right? The Zones I have assigned to each country correspnod with the zones listed in each zone in the shipping module... (see screenshot in my original post...) Jon
burt Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 To what country are you attempting to ship (which produces a "cannot be determined" message ?
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Sorry only just seen your previous reply... Is this where you mean? I can't see where I can put in zone rates here.... confused :-/
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 I've tried USA, which should select Zone 3...
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Starting to wonder if I should have used a table rate? Would that have been easier?
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 This is doing my head in now. Spent hours inputting country codes, etc. and now when I try to register an account the dropdown for "State/County" just contains "1" (presumably the zone it has picked up!) Have I completely cocked this up?
RMD27 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Hello Frilly - In the admin go to Modules > Shipping > Zone Rates. You have entered the 2 digit ISO codes in the country fields for each zone?
RMD27 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Okay, I see you have put the country codes re your first screenshot  The things that sticks out is that details in the "shipping table" fee is not done correctly. :( When you click edit to change the details of the zone rates it gives you the format it needs to be. For example 5:7.5. For you purpose of a flat rate you probably want something like 100:6.99, ie packages up to 100kg ship for 6.99. Let me know if that helps
FrillyKnickers Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 OK think I've sorted it... Phew!
