suscrofa Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Hello! I have searched the forums for a clear and recent response for the correct URLs to type nto the relay/reciept. I have tried numerous variations/combinations, and none get me to the transaction page in authorize.net. I have the SIM version installed and have no SSL. Do I still use "https" to start both lines? Is the https server in includes/configure have an https? I changed it from true to false on the line that asks enable SSL. From what I have seen in the forums, both lines should read: https://naturs-way/petstore/catalog/checkout_process.php Please set me straight, I have wasted a lot of time trying to get this expensive payment gateway working. Thank you. Lark
Guest Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 @@suscrofa I believe authorize.net REQUIRES your site to have an active SSL for live transactions. Chris
suscrofa Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 I believe an SSL is required for the AIM version. Lark
Guest Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 @@suscrofa Check with Authorize.net to confirm, but I believe they both require an SSL. Chris
suscrofa Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Here are descriptions of SIM and AIM from the authorize.net knowledgebase: Glossary Server Integration Method (SIM) An Authorize.Net Payment Gateway Web site connection method that allows merchants to post transactions directly to the payment gateway's secure server and requires transaction-unique encryption for transaction authentication. SIM provides merchants with a hosted payment form (the Web page that collects the customer's payment information) and a hosted receipt page (the Web page that reports a summary of the transaction back to the customer). Advanced Integration Method (AIM) The preferred method for connecting a merchant Web site to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway. AIM allows merchants to customize their own payment form (the Web page that collects the customer's payment information) and receipt page (the Web page that reports a summary of the transaction back to the customer), as well as submit transactions over an end-to-end Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection It does not mention anything about a SSL required under SIM, which is why I chose it in the first place. I still have the same problem. Lark
