Specials showing up on products_new.php page even though they are inactive?

I am running osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.3 and I have a problem. Products appear as specials (products with special price offer / discount) on the products_new.php page even though the specials have expired or set inactive in admin.

a.) Anyone have any expirience how to fix the products_new.php page?

 

b.) Or if it cant be fixed, is their any way to hide the specials completely from the products_new.php page?

You need to say which addon is causing the problem, if it is an addon.

There might already be a support thread for the addon which you should perhaps post to.

Yes, the webshop uses the Dresscode theme for oscommerce 2.3.x. I sent an email to their support and they immidiatelly sent me back two new files, product_listing.php and product_new.php that replaced the old ones. These seem to have fixed the problem!
