What can happen if...... c_id or c_default address id

when i have start my oscommerce

 

customers_id was the same as customers_default_address_id

 

by a misterious mistake now both value are not the same.

 

 

whatt is the use of customers_default_address_id

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

 

Address id is incremental. so customer 1 gets address id of 1

If customer 1 adds a second address for shipping, then that address id = 2

 

now customer 2 comes along and their default address id =3 because 2 is already used.

 

the address is store in a separate table and is found by the address id number. The default id is what is used as 'default'. Customers can have several addresses in their account. The number of addresses permitted is a setting in admin.

this only use for address book.

 

this will never create issue for my addon,
