Make a Payment and then be able to download certain amount of Files.

Hi there everyone,

 

I want to find out if something is possible on OSCommerce, i have a online shop powered by OsCommerce and I'd like to have my members be able to pay a certain amount a month and then be able to download a certain amount of videos thats made available for them.

 

Can this be done in OsCommerce, some add-on maybe or something?

I would recommend you checking out some sort of Digital Download add-on for osCommerce. I'm sure there will be a few around on the forums. I did a little search and come upon this: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5601

 

Allows store owner to offer downloads upon purchase of a subscription product. You can set number of days downloads allowed and allow set number of free downloads prior to purchasing subscription all by configuration of subscription product (max_days, max_count). Subscription product displays in column right. Uses Downloads Controller and PayPal IPN modules. Both modules included. Installs/Uninstalls completely from Admin, no sql file to upload.

 

Not sure if the add-on is outdated or works, but you could always check it out and tweak it or have a look for something simular within the osCommerce downloads or forums. I'm sure there will be something that allows something for such, since osCommerce supports 'Downloads'.
