hema77 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Hi, I set up the maximum product weight to 5, and then tried buying a product which was 6kg, and let me go throught the check out process. Is there anything I am not doing so that this works? I expected this to be a simple weight limit restriction... Thanks!

It is at that maximum weight that the next line in admin takes effect which is 'percentage increase in shipping cost if over-weight'. So, it will allow the order still but charged a premium shipping rate if the weight is over your maximum. Chris

I just tried putting the product weight as 1 KG, the max weight as 5 kg,, larger packages 50%, still doesnt work. I don't know if its cause of me shipping modules installed.
