jhkim83 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 my merchant account is currently setup throuigh ACH Direct (Payments Gateway). If i install the Payments Gateway Secure Web Pay module on my site, do i no longer need to worry about being pci compliant?
♥toyicebear Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 If the credit card information is entered at your website , then you need to be PCI compliant. If the customer is sent to the payment gateways server to input cc info and after that sent back to your site again, you do not need to be PCI compliant. (The only exception i know of so far is PayPal Advanced, which uses an iframe at your site to show the input form from their payment servers so that it appears to the customer that they dont leave your site) Basics for osC 2.2 Design - Basics for Design V2.3+ - Seo & Sef Url's - Meta Tags for Your osC Shop - Steps to prevent Fraud... - MS3 and Team News... - SEO, Meta Tags, SEF Urls and osCommerce - Commercial Support Inquiries - OSC 2.3+ How To To see what more i can do for you check out my profile [click here]
MrPhil Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Don't waste our time by asking the same question over and over in different sections. I already answered it yesterday in "Security".
