How to change the countries dropdown order ?

Hi there, I know how to set up a default country but what if you want UK to be the default one and then you want for example Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Channel Islands etc to show next on top of the list before the rest of the countries? Does any one know an add-on I could use??

You can look at the Active Countries contribution but be careful as it was written for 2.2 so you may need to update it a little to work with 2.3.3 (not sure, I have not used this contribution)
