one product with 2 prices

Im trying to understand how this works: what we sell is fabrics being part of a sofa or chair, but also need to offer samples (swatches) of each fabric so that the customer can see and feel a piece of the fabric before purchasing in a actual sofa or chair. I would like to have a separate page just to order fabric samples from, as the fabrics now are sold as applied to a sofa / chair and this is part of our "build to order process". But these 2 pages : sample page and build to order page should be in-sync= same fabrics with same codes. The fabric samples with have a cost not related to the costs of purchasing a sofa or chair with that fabric.

 

It looks like in the table `products_options_values` stores the value for the fabrics. Can I create a new category with the same values from this table?

I would add the optional related products box with the samples in them

Use product option? Have an option called "sample" with appropriate price (use negative number to have smaller price than fabric)
