How to make category block longer

I want to make the category block longer, so that attachment no.1 should look like the attachment no.2

Please help.

You could try to modify the css to increase the line height. In order to achieve the rounded corners, not all browsers support the css-way, so you may need to go deeper and play with background-images or so...

What version of osc are you talking about?
