Ok, just installed on new server:

 

What do I need or don't need for security and settings to make oscommerce work?

 

Here are the 4 basic ones that I am wondering about .. on or off ?

 

cgi.force_redirect = ?

allow_url_fopen = ?

allow_url_include = ?

register_globals = ?

Basic osCommerce should work with all of those off. Some shipping modules that contact an outside server may try to use allow_url_fopen, so leave that on if your module requires it.
