chelle40 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Hi, We just went live with our oscommerce v2.3.1 website a couple weeks ago. I want to make it so that it is mobile friendly as well now. I don't know where to begin. We started out with a template from template monster and when I asked them about making the site mobile friendly, they said it would be an additional $300 but in doing browsing the web it seems there may be a way I can do this myself? I found this site: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7636 but I am not sure if making it mobile friendly would be an add on or if it will be a whole entity in itself? I think it would probably have to be the same version as my website too? mine is 2.3.1 and this add on is 3.0. Could someone get me going in the right direction? Thanks, Shelli
♥bruyndoncx Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 iosC is a complete alternate set of pages optimized for mobile phones (small screens). I think it will work with 2.3.1 even if it was for 2.2 if you mean mobile like tablet, then I think you should be looking at a responsive website like I did. There is nothing ready made, but a good start can be found on github google for 'responsive oscommerce' HTH KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! Find the most frequent unique errors to fix: grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
