bikefish Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Hi, When I go to my Oscommerce (2.3.1) admin I get this url: http://www.mystore.com/~myname/admin/login.php?osCAdminID=d4a707940278a177325d1227daae09ca is this correct or should it be? http://www.mystore.com/admin/login.php Any help would be appreciated.
♥geoffreywalton Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 There is a thread on what is the oscid and why you should keep it. That url is OK but you did not "rename" the admin directory during your installation. Anyone trying to hack your site will try to log in at http://www.mystore.com/admin So either rename the admin directory and amend the name in admin/includes/configure.php or reinstall and change the name during the installation.
